We are Superwomen: That is our legacy

When we are together, we are reminded that we are young, vibrant, and full of life. This is the image we want our children to remember. We are mothers, grandmothers, wives, and many other titles but in moments like this we are just young and happy.

If we have learned anything from COVID, it is that there is no guarantee. All the things we thought were so important did not matter when faced with a pandemic. Many people lost loved ones or jobs and our nation was torn between sorrow and resentment. Most of all, we were all scared. In short two years, life as we know changed in ways we were not prepared to handle.

Despite the changes brought on by "unprecedented times", we are resilient. Many people found ways to make the best out of the situation and even found themselves. Our customers learned self care and found the products they needed at our stores. We are grateful our services and products helped to uplift our customers' spirit.

Smile, Laugh and Breathe

“I've learned that people will forget what you said, people forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel” - Maya Angelou

Many people now wear their treasured, expensive, special occasion dress to the grocery store or even to grab coffee. And why not? Instead of waiting for that special day, we now realize that every day is special. When our customers come in our store with excitement, we are just as excited because they are getting products to make them look and feel gorgeous.

When our members get together twice a year to learn new skills and spcifics of products, we are elated because we learn ways to better service our customers. Like school girls, we giggle during discussions and doze off during lectures. The few days we are together are special for us and we feel alive. Fully rejuvinated after our workshops, we are ready to take on the world. And this is how we want our children and grandchildren to feel. We are grateful and happy to be here and now.
